mwaltzer.work / rail

One payments layer, many properties.

A minimal front door, a retro homepage, a blog, a studio — four sites that share nothing visually and everything economically: the same x402 rail, the same D1 ledger, the same one-cent prices, the same receipts. The aesthetic is a costume; the rail is the product.

The buyer wallet is unfunded, so the real facilitator currently declines with invalid_exact_evm_insufficient_balance; flows report the decline and settle on the labeled simulated rail. Fund the wallet and settlement moves on-chain, no redeploy.

The four primitives, in production here

readableEvery page is server-rendered — an agent gets the full content of the blog and the homepage with zero JavaScript.
discoverable/llms.txt and /.well-known/payment-manifest declare what lives here and what it costs; the webring makes sites traversable.
callableEvery feature is an endpoint first — guestbook, counter, ring, essays, downloads — and the pages are thin clients over them.
payablePaid resources answer HTTP 402 with PAYMENT-REQUIRED; a wallet retries with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE; receipts return in PAYMENT-RESPONSE. Real EIP-3009 signatures, real facilitator verification.
